Good Governance Strategy

First Goal: To conduct internal audit as effective as possible

Main activities

Responding to the guidelines of the National Anti-Corruption Council for Anti-Corruption Unit:

Anti-Corruption Unit has a mission to lead the fight against corruption, in all sectors, at all levels throughout Kingdom of Cambodia through education, prevention and law enforcement and suppression with the participation of the public and international cooperation.

-First Goal

Anti-Corruption Institution enhances awareness of the public and cracks down on corrupt offenders aiming to reduce corruption both offenses and corrupt opportunity with satisfied results.

National Cooperation Strategy

Goal: To promote the cooperation among national and international institutions

Strengthen and relate the news contacts with various national and international institutions in the region and the globe
Participate the meetings, seminar related with the issues of anti-corruption inside and outside of the country

Law Enforcement Strategy

First Goal: To establish an effective complaint system

Prevention and Obstruction Strategies

First Goal: To encourage the prevention and obstruction corrupt practices at the targeted ministries/institutions

Arrange the National Anti-Corruption Workshop presided over by Samdech Akka Moha Sena Padei Techo Prime Minister
Coordinate and give recommendations regarding the code of conducts and set up action plans at the targeted ministries/institutions.

Education Strategy

First Goal: To disseminate Anti-Corruption Law and Relevant Laws to improve public awareness to reduce corruption offences and opportunities

To organize awareness raising on the Anti-Corruption Law and related laws;
To train focal persons within public ministries and institutions and private establishments;
To disseminate Anti-Corruption Law and relevant laws through state and private media;
To disseminate Anti-Corruption Law and relevant laws at state ministries and institutions, private establishments and places which are vulnerable to corruption.
Work Performance Indicators

There is a program to disseminate Anti-Corruption Law and relevant laws in early 2011;
Trainings for focal persons within public ministries and institutions and private establishments will have been conducted by end of the first semester of 2011;
Dissemination of Anti-Corruption Law and relevant laws through state and private media will take place once a week;
Dissemination of Anti-Corruption Law and relevant laws at state ministries and institutions, private establishments and places which are vulnerable to corruption will have been done by late 2011.
Second Goal: To provide and disseminate anti-corruption related information to increase awareness and encourage public engagement in prevention and anti-corruption

Create TV Spots, texts for dissemination of messages against corruption through multimedia (Television channels, radios, newspaper, magazines, internet etc..)
Produce a Talk Show and Film series with the contents of Anti-Corruption to be broadcasted on radios, TV Channels and create CD, VCD, and DVD
Cooperate with the art performers (musicians, comedians, long-handled guitar show etc) to include the educational messages of preventing corruption.

Arrange the Contest (Debates, Poets writing, Slogans, Short stories, Paintings, etc…) at provincial and municipal levels and for the national contest which will be conducted at the municipality
Round Table Discussions on radio, TV channels, inviting the government officials, Civil Society Organizations, and legal persons to participate
